What do you do when you can’t visit your local HomeSense or browse showrooms for inspiration because of a pandemic?
I’ve found joy in reading my coffee books, you know the ones we all use to stage and decorate our coffee tables, but rarely open. In today’s world of social media and Pinterest, most of us are so used to scrolling and liking post of fabulous interiors or replaying the latest TikTok. Being able to turn the page of a book and admire an interior that’s not on a screen is something I’ve forgotten, and its so satisfying. Don’t get me wrong, social media is great for instant inspiration, but reading how a designer approached a project and from where they drew inspiration paints a broader picture.
How many coffee books do you have on your table? I’ve counted 10 on mine 🤭
